Stuffed waffles to delight young and old alike

Preparation time : approximately 1 hour 45 minutes (including 1 h of resting time).

For approximately 16 brown sugar wafers (30 g each).

Preparation

Making the brown sugar

In a mixer, using a paddle attachment, mix the brown sugar and butter at medium speed until smooth and creamy.

Making the wafers

Using a mixer with a hook, mix the flours, fresh yeast, brown sugar, salt, butter, and eggs until smooth. Then add the milk at medium speed.

Let the dough rest until it doubles in volume (about 1 hour).

Divide the dough into 30 g balls and bake them in the wafer batter until golden brown (about 1 minute 30 minutes).
